It’s the end of the school year, and our tables looked like
this!
Yes, I did set out paper for them to color on, but somehow crayons just seem more fun on the table… Once you make your first stray mark onto the table, it’s hard to go back to the paper!
I had heard about using shaving cream to clean crayon marks,
but we had never done it before.
But really, how much better can it get?! The kids get a
sensory and fine motor experience, and the table gets cleaned!
We did have to scrub a little harder where the marks are
harder, but my students were up to the challenge! This was what it looked like
mid-cleaning.
And we also got in some shaving cream fun too!
The toddlers were even excited to wipe off the shaving cream
with wet paper towels afterward!
Ahhh, much better!
